Exploration Peak Park Reservation Request: Swing Set Pavilion

​​​​​​General Information

  • Purpose: The purpose of this schedule is to provide uniform use of Exploration Peak Park for the benefit of all.
  • Authority: The Board of Directors of the Mountain’s Edge Master Association, through the maintenance agreement with Clark County, has the ability to program Exploration Peak Park which includes the renting out of any picnic areas.
  • Reservation Availability: With the limited amount of picnic areas at Exploration Peak Park, the only areas available to be utilized are the covered picnic area s by the Volleyball Court, Horseshoe Pit and Swing Set pavilions. Please note: the pavilion closest to the Splash Pad is not available for reservation. Renter will not have exclusive use of facilities adjacent to the pavilion and will not discourage others from using the facilities. All other spaces are a first come first serve basis.
  • Capacity: The maximum capacity is 40 people. A number larger than this amount will result in your reservation being canceled without refund.  

Rules and Regulations

  • No bands, loud music, or anything that would disrupt the other park patrons' enjoyment of the park.
  • No weddings, professional parties or company parties will be permitted.
  • No alcoholic beverages permitted.
  • Animals must be on leashes at all times and owners MUST clean up after their pets.
  • Time limit is 3 hours. Please be considerate of the next group who has made a reservation and leave promptly. The rental hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • The fee for the Volleyball Court and Horseshoe Pit pavilions is $100.00 for non-residents and members who are not in good standing with their assessments. The fee for residents in good standing is $50.00.
  • The fee for the Swing Set Pavilion is $200.00 for non-residents and members who are not in good standing. The fee for residents is $100.00.
  • Payment is required to complete the registration.
  • Please note that the public and residents not in good standing are required to include a deposit in their reservation. Residents in good standing do not need to submit this with the understanding that leaving a mess or damaging the pavilion rental will result in fees charged to your account. 
  • There is a $100.00 refundable deposit for the Volleyball Court & Horseshoe Pit pavilions and $200.00 refundable deposit for Swing Set Pavilion to ensure the park has been left in its original condition. In the event, the area was not returned to its original condition, the deposit will not be returned.
  • If upon arrival you need assistance, locate the Courtesy Patrol officer that is in the park.
  • You may cancel your reservation up to 14 days in advance of the date of the reservation, by written notice to the Association of such cancellation. If the association receives the notice at least 14 days in advance of the event, then the association will issue a full refund to the undersigned.
  • There will be no refunds after 14 days or a no show.
  • Please allow up to 30 days for refunds and return of security deposits.
  • The Association reserves the right to ask any group to leave if not abiding by the park rules.
  • The Association only takes reservations up to (3) months in advance.
  • No single party can reserve a spot more than 3 times in a calendar year.
  • A photo ID is required to secure a reservation.
  • No outside vendors permitted, this to include on-site catering, DJs, bounce houses, professional games, or carnival booths.
  • No ground staking at any time.
